INTRAMS-stastic!

Last August 29 and 30, we had our Intramurals 2013. I don't have any sport that’s why I just decided to stay with my other club members in Junior Health Club.  For those 2 days, I just helped in treating other students who were injured in their games. I can say that even if I don’t have any sport, I still enjoyed the 2-day Intramurals. I enjoyed watching different activities and contests like Dansport , Mass Demo, Mr. and Ms. Physique and Campus Duets. I also enjoyed cheering and supporting my classmates in their games.
On the first day of the Intrams, I stayed at our booth for almost half of the day. There I just waited for persons who were injured. While waiting, I just watched basketball, volleyball and chat with my friends. At the afternoon, I roamed around the school and socialize with others. On the second day of the Intrams, my routine was just like of the other day. I stayed in the booth and wait for injured students. But here in the second day, I gained new friends. I became friends with Leslie and Teriz. At first, talking to them was really awkward. I was a little bit shy that time. But because of the help of my other friends like Shane, Paul and Beatriz, I had a good time with them. How I wish I knew them before! They were very nice to me. I thought the second day of the intrams would be perfect, but I was wrong. While watching the championship game of the basketball girls, I was so excited. I’m screaming like the others just to cheer the players up. Except the fact when I saw Allen fell, I was so shocked and a bit nervous. At first, I thought that she was still okay, but when she faced me, “Oh my God!” , that’s the first phrase that entered my mind when I saw her knees and arms wounded. I was panicking that time that I don’t even know what to do. I just let our nurse to treat her. When it was done, I can’t look at her wounds directly. I know it’s so embarrassing to say, but I’m a bit scared of seeing blood. I just comforted her because she’s crying.

At 4:00 pm, all of us were called for the closing and awarding ceremony. Us, the Yellow Cardinals won the second place for the school level. So now, I can finally say that even if I don’t have sports , my Intrams for this year was ALMOST PERFECT !
